Our Story

Waterlyte is an electrolyte drink, also known as Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS), that quickly supplies fluids and electrolytes based on scientific evidence, and is commonly used to treat dehydration due in children. We have developed Waterlyte as a drink that is easy to drink with superior taste compared to other ORS products.Waterlyte is absorbed 3 times faster than water and sports drinks by having an osmotic pressure (249 mOsm/L) lower than the osmotic pressure (270 to 285 mOsm/L) of our body and an electrolyte concentration that operates the sodium-glucose pumps in the small intestines. The WHO and UNICEF recommend ORS for dehydration management (ORS, 2006, WHO/RCH/CAH/06.2)
